The bike is stunning, and not just in looks. It offers a staggering 110 horsepower, 140 ft-lbs of torque, an electronically limited top speed of 120 mph and 161 miles (claimed) of range. It starts at $18,995.  For comparison, the upcoming release of the Harley-Davidson Livewire will offer 74 horsepower, 54 ft-lbs of torque, and will cost some $10,000 more.

It’s a ground-up build, starting five years ago with a clean sheet of paper, but using what Zero has learned in 13+ years of building electric bikes. It has improvements that they couldn’t fit into their existing bikes. They’re using a new, bigger ZF75-10 motor, with a new controller and Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control, to offer more power and greater efficiency from the 14.4 kWh battery, which is openly displayed in the frame.

The new display is connected to your phone, so you can record and share your rides, get an alert if you’re away from the bike and it falls over or gets moved, and even alert others if you crash.

With a level two charger, the SR/F can be charged to 95% capacity in one hour.
