YAMAHA TO POWER NEW HAI-BIKE E-BIKE LINE

Haibike has announced a new line of Yamaha mid-drive-powered e-bikes named Sduro. The new line will join the line of Bosch-powered Xduro line of premium e-bikes. At this time the Yamaha-powered bikes will not be available in the U.S. Judging by the time it took Bosch to prepare for the U.S. Market, it is unlikely that Yamaha could be ready to enter the U.S. market in less than a year. Yamaha is new to the European market but has nearly three million e-bikes on the road in Asia. In the Haibike chassis the Yamaha looks like a contender.
