Bianchi

Italy’s first bicycle manufacturer, Bianchi, was formed in 1885 by Edoardo Bianchi and is now a byword for the best in cycling. One of the first cycling manufacturers in the world to sponsor its own competition team, Bianchi now takes design feedback from its competition riders.

Even though e-bikes are a relatively new thing, Bianchi is still producing thoroughbred electric machines. If you know the company through road racing, then take a look at the $7,700 Aria — a serious road bike with the extra punch of an electric motor. In mountain biking, the firm has taken the world by storm with eMTBs like the E-Omnia dual suspension mountain bike. At the same time, Bianchi does (more) sensible utility and touring e-bikes like the $6,000 E-Arcadex tourer or the entry-level T-Tronik that retails for $2,700.

Whatever your taste for e-bikes, from the pure road racing machines to the commuter/touring end of the spectrum, expect high quality in a Bianchi. Riding one is the nearest most people will get to riding an Italian stallion!

Our Review of Bianchi E-Bikes

If you want to get something with the style and flair of a Ferrari but only have $7,000 to spare, you’ll be able to get your hands on the e-bike equivalent of a Ferrari in a Bianchi electric bike.

Comfortable, quick, and stylish from end to end, Bianchi e-bikes are a force to be reckoned with as these machines go. They can take you up to 15.5 mph with pedal assist, which should be more than fast enough for most casual riders. And with a pledge to shift to 60% e-bikes and 40% road bikes moving forward, Bianchi is a brand to keep an eye on in the electric market.
