Video: Horizon Lock – Go Pro Hero 11 Black

We have had the Gopro Hero 11 Black for a month or so and we think that the Horizon Lock feature is one of its killer settings.

We recently found ourselves on Monte Falco in the centre of Italy with the camera a spare ride and a bit of setting up to get this killer onboard rider footage.

The images have had some post for color grading (LUT Only) but otherwise its out of the camera in 5.3K 25P cinematic mode with Horizon Lock engaged. The light is incredibly low in places, so it’s a great test for the camera and its ability to stabilize in terrible light.

We had the camera mounted on a rider in front in a special way to maintain the point of view, but this is not witha  gimbal, 100 percent in camera stabilization.

When the clouds rolled in, it just all hit at the same time, add some cool music, we hope you enjoy.

We were riding the Canyon Spectral On with its 900 Wh battery and Shimano motor for those who want to know.

Verdict

If you are looking for a do it all action camera, based on our experience so far with ebikes and different situations the Hero 11 Black is the best on the market right now and gives some amazing features to experiment with.
