Tour de France Champion Greg LeMond Launches e-Bikes
Legendary Tour de France champion, whose cycling career transitioned to becoming a top bike manufacturer, is right now officially launching a line of e-bikes based on their knowledge of bicycle design and technology. Their two new e-bikes, the Dutch and the Daily, promise to be lightweight thanks to a full carbon frameset. Even the stem and fenders are carbon.
Their goal is to make the lightest bikes in the category, and with all that carbon fiber, they just might. The design is minimalist and looks quite elegant in the photos we’ve seen so far. You can barely see the cables around the handlebars.

THE DAILY
Designed by Greg for everyday use, it uses a lot of carbon fiber in its diamond-shaped frame and other parts for strength and light weight. The battery is integrated into the frame, and uses an Ebikemotion X35 250W rear hub motor for light weight and a bit of stealth. As long as you don’t leave a white sticker on the rear hub (we’ve seen this in real life), you really don’t notice the hub motor. It comes with a Shimano GRX hydraulic 1×11 drivetrain, tubeless compatible aluminum wheels, and a melodious Spurcycle bell.
THE DUTCH
A virtually similar bike to the Daily, but this is designed with a more popular step-through frame design for easier mounting. It has all the same niceties, including the ebike motion X35 motor and integrated battery, Shimano GRX drivetrain, aluminum wheels and Spurcycle bell.
Both bikes come in at a base price of $4500, and can be upgraded to include a Lemond carbon fiber wheel set, Shimano Di2 electronic-shifting drivetrain and a Brooks England Saddle. Claimed range is 46 miles with the integrated 250Wh battery, and there’s an optional external 250Wh battery.
The base model will weigh in at 27.2 lbs.
