SUPER73 ANNOUNCES NEW SAINT LAURENT RIVE DROITE SPECIAL EDITION

Super73 just announced a new special edition bike designed in collaboration with Saint Laurent called the Rive Droite (Right Bank). This is a bit of an homage to Yves Saint Laurent’s Rive Gauche (Left Bank), and hopefully, buyers won’t find themselves in Seine (we couldn’t help but make that pun!). This is another in a line of special edition models for Super73, including their collaboration with Mattel/Hot Wheels and another with Roland Sands Design.

It’s based on the Super73-S2 but features design influences from Saint Laurent. The frame and fork are aluminum, and the “gas tank” is actually the battery. It’s priced at a premium, $6500 (the regular model is $2695). After all, it is haute couture), and there will only be 50 made. The creative director behind this collaboration is Anthony Vaccarello. It’s an all-matte black finish, including the custom padded leather seat, black leather grips and even a black chain. Black is, apparently, the new black!
