New Products: Ebikemotion X35 Hub Motor
POWER TO THE HUB
We’ve shown two of the companies using the Ebikemotion X35 hub motor—Orbea and Bianchi—in their drop-bar bikes. It looks like other companies are jumping on the bandwagon now as well. It’s a small-enough hub motor to hide between the cassette and brake rotor, and the battery is so minuscule that it fits in a regular-sized downtube. It offers 250 watts of power, a smart color display with accelerometer, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a 250-Wh battery. Users who want more range can buy a range extender that’s shaped like a water bottle and fits in the bottle cage, offering 250-Wh extra power.
