New Products: Brose’s New Display and Drive Motors
MOTORS AND DISPLAYS FROM BROSE
Brose has announced new motors and displays. The Drive C is aimed at city/urban riders, while the Drive T is for touring bikes to cover long distances. The TF is designed for those who want a Class 3 (28mph) ride, and the Drive S is for sporty riders (read: mountain bikers).
They’ve redesigned the motors and displays, and all are compatible with legacy equipment for those who want to upgrade. There are three variants of the displays: the Allround, which is a small LCD screen; the Remote, which is simply a switch panel with LED lights; and the large Central display and remote switch panel.
Motors are available in two case materials: aluminum motors run 3400 grams, and magnesium-cased motors weigh in at 2900 grams. The magnesium-cased motors are 15-percent smaller, as well.
The 630-Wh battery—still one of the highest-capacity batteries available—remains unchanged.
