CUSTOM TEAM RACING KITS

New concept from Primal

We recently collaborated with Primal Wear to design some new custom kits for the wrecking crew. Primal has an extensive custom design process that allows riders to have specific input into how they want their new kits to look. Our new kits are Primal’s MTB jersey and Escade short that use lightweight, durable materials. Pricing starts at about $160 for the complete kit.

TOPICAL EDGE

Feels like you’re cheating

Cross-country racers are always looking for a little extra help to shed extra seconds off their lap times. Topical Edge is a sodium bicarbonate cream that is applied to a rider’s legs to help suppress cramping and lactic acid. Sodium bicarbonate has been ingested by more dedicated racers but can cause stomach issues. Topical Edge is available in packets at www.topicaledge.com. The price is set at $20 for a box of 10 packets intended for five workouts.

FIDLOCK BOTTLE TWIST

New take on a classic

New suspension designs have either eliminated water bottle cages or made the space too tight for traditional cages. The Fidlock Bottle Twist is a new take using two magnets to retain the water bottle. Fidlock claims this design works better in smaller spaces and is compatible with any bike. Fidlock offers two bottle colors with a black mount. For more info on where to find one, check out fidlock.com.

WASP 4K CAMERA

Affordable action camera

Riding with an action camera has become almost as necessary as riding with a helmet these days. The Wasp is a sealed unit that uses GoPro-style mounts and will record up to 4K qualities. The Wasp is waterproof up to 98 feet and uses WiFi to pair with your phone for live streaming. The price is $330 for the camera with several different mounts. The camera can be found at www.waspcam.com.
