New Bike Day: Porsche Mountain e-Bike
PORSCHEMOUNTAIN E–BIKE
Porsche now offers e-bikes, designed by Studio F.A. Porsche in partnership with Rotwild, to create bikes that are characterized by their functionality, durability and riding dynamics.
There are two models available, the on-road Sport and the off-road Cross. They both sport a carbon fiber frame, full suspension, a Shimano EP8 mid-drive with 85 N/m of torque, Magura brakes and inverted fork, and Fox rear suspension.
The Cross uses Magura MT Trail brakes, a Shimano XT 1×12, a 504-Wh battery integrated into the downtube, a Crankbrothers dropper post and MonkeyLink stem and seatpost clamp, and is pre-wired for lights.
The Sport offers 11-speed Shimano Di2 shifting, Magura MC1 brakes, Supernova headlight, a Supernova LED rear light integrated into the aero seatpost, and a 630-Wh integrated battery. The bikes were designed to complement the Taycan Cross Turismo, which has a rear carrier that can accommodate up to three bikes.
The Sport will set you back $10,700, plus delivery, and the Cross is priced at $8550 plus delivery.
