Marrs M-1 Electric Bike
MARRS M-1 ELECTRIC BIKE
Kacy Marrs is an interesting dude. He grew up riding BMX and motocross, and there’s some cool footage of him online doing some crazy freestyle motocross riding. In the early 2000s, he started making electric beach cruisers with some pretty unique designs that are inspired by the SoCal beach and hot-rod cultures.
He now has an electric motorcycle that he’s built, and it looks incredible, with a low-slung battery and a springer fork that gives a nod to Harley-Davidson bikes of a bygone era. It weighs in at 220 pounds, features Kicker audio and he says it can go up to 90 mph.
He was selling the bicycles for a while, though he has no current intention of selling anything.
“I’m not actively trying to sell anything, more so enjoy putting my creations out there,” he says. But, yet, he seems to be considering it: “It would be cool to offer a couple of different frame options, front-end options, wheel/motor kit options, battery options, etc. for the DIYer to build their own custom e-motorcycle at different price points.”
