Jeff Clark’s Vintage Electric Signature Cruz

In 1975, 17-year-old Jeff Clark paddles into a navigational hazard off the coast of Half Moon Bay. That day Mavericks, an oceanic anomaly, became one of the iconic big wave surf spots in the world and Jeff pioneered a new genre of surfing, carving out his legacy. Our friends at Vintage Electric have formed a partnership with Clark and are creating a signature series e-bike, called the Vintage Electric Jeff Clark Signature Cruz. It features a Brooks leather-wrapped surfboard-carrier, a 702Wh battery, a powerful direct drive rear hub motor with regen capabilities, Blackburn panniers (insulated to keep things frosty, e.g. a post-surf potable), and head- and taillights for those days when you’re on dawn patrol to the beach. They’re a limited edition (only 20 will be made) and will be up for grabs by the time you read this. Retail price $4995.
