Husqvarna's New EE5 E-Motorcycle

Husqvarna dips their toe in the electric water with their first e-motorcycle, the EE 5. EE stands for “electric engine.” It’s an electric mini bike that continues the brand’s pioneering motocross journey and delivers a complete and fully adaptable, 5-kW machine.

It may be a kids’ motorcycle, but they’re not playing around. The WP XACT fork offers 205mm of travel, as does the fully adjustable WP rear shock.

Husqvarna's EE5 E-Motorcycle is race ready

The bike is equivalent to a 50cc motorcycle and has an adjustable seat, as well as six drive modes that allow it to grow with a young rider’s abilities. It’s set up to charge quickly (70 minutes for a full charge) to keep kids riding. Ride times depend on how fast the rider is going, anywhere from 25 minutes to 2 hours. This is undoubtedly Husky’s first step in electrifying their line.
