HONDA ENTERS ELECTRIC

HONDA ENTERS ELECTRIC

Honda is the latest motorcycle brand to jump into e-moto market when they recently showed off their off-road CR motocross bike and Benly scooter. The CR is based on a stock CRF twin-spar frame with a Mugen electric motor and transmission.

The Benly is based on their popular 110cc ICE scooter to promote their battery-swap technology. It has two removable batteries, allowing the potential for riders to have a range as far as the batteries they carry.

While the bikes looked impressive (the CR was launched with some hot laps at a MX track in Japan), there was no word regarding on-sale dates.  www.powersports.honda.com
