Felt Ninee 30 Headed For America?

While speaking to Jim Felt about his Lebowsk-e Fat Bike, we got the feeling that the Lebowsk-e was just the beginning of the e-bike offerings that Felt plans to make available to the American public. Well, we didn’t even have to resort to trolling the Deepnet to find these impressive photos and specs on the Felt Ninee 30.

Our sister publication, Mountain Bike Action,  have been impressed with the quality and performance of the Felt Nine Series aluminum hardtails for years. What Felt has done is take the Nine Series alloy frames and redesigned and optimized for a Bosch Performance Line Motor. Built with a RockShox Recon fork, Shimano Drivetrain, Shimano Hydraulic disc brakes, and a WTB wheelset, The NINEe 30 should be a very capable electric assist bike made to take some harsh riding conditions.

If they are imported to America, we will get a review bike and bring you the facts. Until then, we can all keep our fingers crossed.

The Bosch system takes the motor out of the hub and places it in the center of the bike. This weight distribution should reap tons of handling benefits on the street and trail.

Felt knows the head tube is important to handling and uses a tapered head tube with FSA 1.125″ – 1.5″ Integrated Aheadset.
