Felt E-Bike Heads To The Backcountry

Felt Bicycles and Felt Electric are pleased to announce it will attend the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo in Salt Lake City, UT, February 19-22  2015 in booth number 1544. The Western Hunting and Conservation Expo is one of the largest gatherings of outdoorsman in the United States, complete with auctions to raise money for a number of outdoor charities and conservation efforts.

Felt Electric will be showcasing its all-new electric hunting bike, the Outfitter. Equipped with a Bosch motor, front and rear rack, trailer attachment capabilities and a camouflage finish, this bike is ideal for the avid hunter, fisher, or outdoorsman alike. Test rides will be available off-site at local Felt Electric dealers Blue Monkey Electric and eSpokes, while two bikes fitted with fishing and hunting gear will be on display at the Salt Palace Convention Center. The Outfitter has been already been successfully tested on a variety of hunting, camping, fishing, and climbing trips.

Felt entered the USA e-bike category in March 2014, with the Outfitter as it’s most recent
electric endeavor. Jim Felt, company founder and avid outdoorsman, wanted to create a bike that would allow him to travel conspicuously through the terrain, unlike a quad. The brainchild of the project, Felt says, “This is something I have been thinking about for years and upon entering the eBike market it instantly became much more feasible. It is a project personally close to my heart and we are thrilled to bring be able to offer the Outfitter to the outdoor community.”

The Outfitter is available in sizes small, medium and large, retails at $5,399 and is available now at your local Felt Electric dealer. To see the entire line of Felt Electric bikes log on to
