Electric Powered BarcaLounger Great Design Project

Design students Jirka Wolff, Andreas Patsiaouras and Marcel Heise of the HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim, Germany, came up with their “Rennholz” or “racing wood” using wood and cordless power drill as the motor. The recumbent has a top speed of 60 miles per hour. Not. It could move the design students around a flat course at a walking pace.
