E-Scooter Or E-Bike? Yes To Both

This is a cool little vehicle that looks like a scooter but pedals (with electric assist) like a bike.

Its LCD illuminates the current speed, indicates voltage left on its battery, and indicates when its headlight, rear light, and turn indicators are active, keeping a rider’s attention on the road instead of controls. Dual rear-view mirrors ensure maximum road visibility. The bicycle’s 500-watt electric motor propels up to two riders weighing up to 300 lbs. to a maximum speed of 20 mph. Dual 18″ pneumatic tires grip the pavement for confident turns and the front and rear disc brakes enable quick stops. A storage compartment beneath the seat locks to keep valuables secure, and the bicycle can be locked to a bike rack or parked on the street like a scooter. The 48-volt lithium-ion battery powers the bicycle for up to 40 miles after a five-hour charge via the included AC adapter; its pedals also deploy for human-powered propulsion (and recharging) for unlimited range.
