Check Out Kona’s New El Kahuna SUV E-bike

Kona just announced their new El Kahuna SUV electric bike. It’s an off-road capable bike aimed at those who want a hardtail cross-country bike. It features an aluminum frame, RockShox suspension fork and a Shimano drivetrain, including an E6100 mid-drive with250W nominal output and 60Nm of torque. It’s fully compatible with the E-Tube app, offering user-tuneability so you can set the power levels to your preference.

 

It comes standard with integrated lighting and a sturdy rear rack and fenders to make it an excellent commuter bike.  The 630Wh battery is a step up from the original spec for the bike, and should offer 20-40 miles of range.
