Bike Of The Day: Kona Remote 160 Trail Bike

Kona Remote 160

The new Remote 160 builds on the previous Remote platform with 160mm of plush RockShox suspension and a forgiving 64-degree head angle and powered by a Shimano STEPS E8000 motor. It has a 6061 aluminum-butted frame and is strapped with great components, like a SRAM SX Eagle 1×12 drivetrain, SRAM Guide RE brakes, and 27.5-inch Maxxis Minion rubber, all for $6000. It’s a lot of bike that we loved sending up and down the trails. It emboldened us to attack terrain we normally would have avoided. Our whole group scored 10 flats in two days just by going outside of our comfort zones.
