A non-standard charging condition caused Harley-Davidson to halt production of the LiveWire electric motorcycle. It turns out the anomaly was isolated to only one bike, and isn’t a concern for any others. H-D says it’s safe for all LiveWire owners to go back to charging with Level 1 (household) charging.
Harley Davidson has halted production on the LiveWire, shortly after the first electric Harley came on sale. Though sales of the $30,000 bike had been slower than expected, the reason for the halt has to do with at-home charging.
