Specialized has a new shoe for mountain bikers who ride flat pedals. It’s called the 2FO Roost, and it’s made for maximum grip and comfort. It combines a durable leather and textile upper, cushoned EVA foam mid-sole and a relaxed fit last that can stand up to trail abuse without sacrificing comfort. The sole is made of their SlipNot ST rubber, and we’ve tried them, and they truly live up to the “SlipNot” part. They’re comfortable, lace up nicely, and they do look nice. They’re available in Oak Green/Black (shown here) or Black/Slate, in European sizes from 36 to 49. We prefer the color here, because it shows less mud from the trail, but that’s just us.
