Santa Barbara is one of California’s brightest jewels and a vacation destination for visitors from all over the globe. From the volleyball courts of East Beach to the Santa Barbara Zoo to the shopping on State Street, this city is a year-round attraction for California residents as well as for those visiting from outside the state and country (you will hear hundreds of languages as you walk down State Street). But Santa Barbara does have one drawback…the traffic and parking!
Finding a parking space with longer than a 75-minute limit anywhere near State Street is next to impossible and good luck finding a spot along the Coast Highway (even on a cloudy day). Using your car to navigate Santa Barbara can be slow and confining. You need to get out and smell the ocean air. And we have a great recommendation.
There is a fun way for visitors to beat Santa Barbara’s parking and traffic headaches. Plan on visiting Pedego of Santa Barbara and renting a Pedego electric bike from their rental fleet. The best way to see Santa Barbara in all its glory is from the saddle of an electric-powered bicycle.
