Niner Bicycles just announced a new gravel bike, the RLT e9 RDO. It’s an electric-assist version of their RLT gravel bike, using a Bosch Performance Line Speed motor (for the U.S. E.U. version will come with a Performance Line CX motor that supports up to 25 km/h) that provides support up to 28 mph, making it a Class 3 e-bike.
It has a carbon frame bonded to a 1-piece alloy motor mount, making it sturdy enough for mountain biking, and very much so for tough gravel roads. There are bosses aplenty for mounting bags and racks for long trips. The integrated Bosch 500Wh PowerTube should provide tens of miles of support.
Niner has designed it as a drop-bar gravel bike, but the bars can easily be swapped for flat bars and mountain bike levers.
The wheels are designed to help the bike get over anything. As the name of the company implies, they’re 29″ wheels, using Schwalbe G-ONE Speed Performance 700x50C tires. The Shimano GRX drivetrain is Boost spaced for MTB parts compatibility.
Available sizes are 47cm, 50cm, 53cm, 56cm, 59cm, and 62cm, and all are available in green as shown.
Price is $5695
