NEW ELECTRIFY EXPO ANNOUNCED

With all the cancellations and postponements over COVID-19, the Electrify Expo seems to have timed it right. This is an expo that features everything from electric scooters to electric trucks, anything involved with electric mobility.

It’s aimed at bringing hands-on experiences with a variety of brands in an outdoor setting, at the Orange County Great Park & Airfield in Orange County, California (South of Los Angeles County) from September 19-20, with Industry and Press day set on September 18.

The Micromobility industry will be worth $80B+ by 2025, covering e-scooters, e-bikes, e-skateboards and e-foils. The demands here are both for shared and owned devices.

EVERY TYPE OF VEHICLE

There will also be electric motorcycles, cars, trucks, planes, helicopters and more. You can likely expect to see the Harley-Davidson Livewire, as well as all of Tesla’s offerings, and even an EVTOL (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) aircraft.

There will be entertainment and motorsports demos, including:

Fastest 0-100 competition

Electric Car Show

Micromobility Stunt Shows & Athlete Demos

Autonomous Charging Demos

Autonomous Course Challenges

Battle Cross

Electric Drift

And Saturday night there will be a concert from 7-9PM. Headlining artist is to be announced, they promise it will be a “Billboard Chart-topping artist”.

The Expo will have a Kid Zone so parents can shop and demo products. Consumers will be able to demo bikes, scooters, skateboards and more, even take a high-performance test drive on an airstrip. There will also be panel discussions and keynote speakers.

THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME

It is more consumer- than trade-oriented, to allow the public to touch, feel and experience all different forms of e-mobility available now and in the future. Tickets for the expo and the concert are going on sale April 22nd, via their website Electrify Expo.

We’re looking forward to going!
