The $34,000 sport bike should be available in 2015. It is said to have a range between 80 and 100 miles when ridden normally, but can go further if run at lower performance modes. The bike is designed so that you can stop for lunch, and have the battery fully charged by the time you finish your pasta, have an espresso and a scoop of Spumoni.
The chassis uses all top shelf items like Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes. The front radiator uses coolant to cool the electronics. In these photos a number of the parts were “printed” on a 3D printer. Energica is planning a series of ride events. Find out more at www.energicasuperbike.com.
